Well 2007 did not seem to have very good real estate market news as the year progressed. It definitely went from bad to worse as the months passed by. Hopefully there were many things that were learned by the real estate market news disaster that took place. One of the biggest problems, that I can see, is that people were trying too hard to get into homes and take over properties that they simply, realistically could not afford. Very little thought seemed to be put into the future expenses involved in owning expensive property. Commercial real estate news was not much better than domestic real estate market news. The last couple of years seemed to demonstrate an over the top display of how little common sense the average citizen has. It is almost to the point that the real estate market news can only get better as it has practically reached the bottom of the ladder. Maybe this new year will reflect an improvement in the rational thinking of regular citizens and we will all try and be more content with things we can realistically afford.
